Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Table 427 is atypical for WPB. They would fit perfectly in Soho, San Fran or Barcelona. The ambiance reminds you of dining in your favorite urban mecca, except with more elbow room. It's truly West Palm Beach dining at its best. Chef Roberto customizes your dish, ingredient por ingrediente. We visited this Monday. My husband has both a gluten allergy and a lactose intolerance. We dined like everyone else-- perhaps better! This is not usually the case! Instead of the crab cakes, we had stuffed mushrooms with crab that Chef Roberto created on the spot for us. We shared the spinach salad with oranges and the cioppino. Every bite was a good as the first. Fresh. Beautifully prepared and personalized, just for us. It's the most romantic spot we've been to in WPB. We love the art, the wine list and the energy of the space. Skip Clematis and Cafe Centro. Choose Table 427 instead. It's worth every penny.

Went in tonight and did the "no menu" dinner option- I just told them I don't eat seafood but my fiancé does- and had probably the best meal we have had in Florida. Every piece was amazing! They even make wine suggestions with each course. This is a 100% hands down must go. Like them on fb cause there are lots of deals!!!! Also, the couple that runs it is so so nice. Super accommodating and friendly. We are officially hooked.

The chef recently changed the menu and truly whatever he makes is wonderful. We opted for the chef's menu which was five courses of deliciousness.

I happen to be in West Palm Beach this weekend and was happy to find this little gem for lunch! The service was incredible. They had fresh juices (I picked passion fruit). And the lunch menu was delightful. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a side salad. From the first bite it was evident how fresh and well made the food was. It was also so affordable! $8.95 for a meal I could barely finish! So happy to have found this place. Our server was outstanding. Will gladly come back here on my next visit! PS: there's also free 2 hour parking!

Really great over all experience here. The atmosphere lends itself to a NYC Village type bistro. Very quaint and warm. Open kitchen and small spot. We tried the Chefs selection menu which is 5 courses set by the chef. You dont know what you are getting until the chef/owner brings it out himself and describes each item personally. Each of the courses were excellent. Dont expect big portions with this menu but you dont need them. We left feeling very full both from the food and the ambiance. Really enjoy this spot and would recommend it highly for any foodie

Amazing. It truly feels like a personal chef experience with how intimate the restaurant is, run by an adorable husband/wife team who genuinely care about every part of your dining experience. In my party of 6 not one of us left food on our plate. First you'll start with these amazing chips with chimichanga, our table had to get two servings. My fiancé and I split the tuna ceviche, crab empanadas and salmon. The tuna ceviche was fantastic and fresh. The crab empanadas were full of crab and had a great flavor with the cheese and sauce. My fiancé, who doesn't even typically like fish, loved the salmon that had a sweet and savory taste. It's a must go for not only a delicious dining experience, but fantastic service as well.

My husband and I got the Tuna & Salmon dishes... they were both really, REALLY good! The atmosphere was great, it's modern but very warm & comfortable. The chef and his wife were so welcoming and nice! The Tres Leches for dessert was amazing too! Highly recommend Table 427!

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet table towards the back even in the midst of a busy evening with the wonderful sounds of the live entertainment on the street. I had the Indian eggplant-delicious but needed a little more moisture-maybe a mushroom cream sauce- I settled for a side of marinara which was excellent. My husband had the crab ravioli with shrimp on top, he said he would get it again- I was unable to try due to a shellfish allergy : ) Our server was great-very attentive and professional but could tell he was a little overwhelmed from the turnout due to the live entertainment.

Wow, very romantic per my wife, I loved the food and good glass of wine. Husband cooked and wife waited on us. Maria is a nice person and Roberto knows how to cook. Highly recommend this small restaurant, only eight tables so if your coming call ahead. Loved the food and her bread is to die for. Will be back soon

Great place for a romantic dinner and birthday celebration. The owners made us feel like one of a kind! The 5 course meal surprise was delicious. I would recommend this place over and over again because it was by far the best experience I've ever had at a restaurant.

  • Martin S.

A great dining experience in a small, cozy, romantic setting run by owner-couple Chef Roberto and his wife Maria. I recommend the Chef Selection, where Chef Roberto makes a meal just for you. Excellent food, well presented, and super tasty. Selection changes with the season, so you know it's always fresh and always something new. Highly recommend it!

A gem in Old Northwood-The Chef and his Wife are gracious hosts and this is a place that you should visit and visit often. We visited on Friday and I had the Octopus-by far the best I have had-this preparation was buttery and was served on a bed of fresh corn. Everything we had was amazing

  • Palm T.

I came to this place because of it's high ratings, but this is the 3rd time YELP has let me down. The food here was overly salty. By the end of the meal, the waiter noticed I had not touched my food and inquired about it. I told him it was too salty. I hate sending my food back, but would have definitely done so if the waiter would have asked to get me something else, but he didn't. They gave us 20% off my meal, which is fine, but overall, I do not recommend this place. You can give them the benefit of the doubt that this was just a bad day, but salting food is a basic culinary skill and I would much rather have under salted food than overly salted food.

Great place. Went there Saturday night and the menu was so interesting it was hard to choose. Everyone in our party loved the food. The server was funny and provided great service. The wine selection was good and the portions ample. Cant wait to return. Great job

overall a wonderful experience! sort of stumbled upon this with a friend and had no prior knowledge of the establishment. Chef/owner as well as our amazing waiter took the time to introduce themselves, walk us through the history and menu. additionally I am vegan and while typically eat vegrtarian out om the town....they found out I was an were more than happy to walk me through all of the items they could easily make vegan for me! this is so rare and was very kind. recommending to all my friends amd coming back soon. one star loss because in all this 90 minute awesomeness our water glasses were never refilled...we had no other drinks ....so considering we were one of 2 tables the entire time....it seems a big enough oversight to mention. however all in all will not deter our trip back.

Love this place. The food is great: prepared with a lot of thought and attention. We snacked on a giant meatball and the delicious rollatini. My main course was the flank steak. Everything was very tasty. If you're eating alone or with one other person, I recommend sitting at the bar, which is basically in the kitchen. We did this the last time we ate at 427 and it was such a cool experience. Chef Roberto would hang out and chat with us at the bar, then turn around - walk 3 steps to his stove - and keep cooking our food (and everyone else's too). A chef's table is not a new concept, but the delivery of it at 427 is really fun.

We had dinner here last October with two other couples and loved it! The food was great and the atmosphere charming. The Chef/owner, Roberto, made a point to introduce himself and ask us about our experience. The wine selections were also very nice. Our food was delicious and each dish was presented in a creative and lovely way. Would definitely go back when in West Palm Beach!

What a find...I was celebrating my birthday with a friend so thought we would try this darling restaurant in Northwood. The block is so cute especially now during the holidays. The meal was so very delicious that hours after I left I still could taste the flavors. Chef Roberto was so gracious and even came over to introduce himself. I had a homemade caesar salad, the rolls were homemade, actually everything is from scratch my waiter informed us. The flank steak with cactus and mashed potatoes was yummy. Steak was so flavorful and tender.. I am always up to try something new so cactus looked like a string bean but better texture and truly delicious! The decor was artsy and inviting with wonderful artwork displayed and for sale. I will return on a date as it has a romantic coziness to it. All I can say is it was a true find and I wish them continued success!!

Went there for my birthday with my wife and children. Food was fantastic. Will definitely go again. My son had the lobster ravioli and loved it. My wife and I had the churasco with mashed potato mixed with sausage and it was the best I've had.

We are out of towners here on vacation and came across this restaurant through groupon. We couldn't be more pleased! The restaurant had a quaint atmosphere and the food and service was on point. For starters, we tried the spicy scallops. The flavor was great-just wish the scallops were a tad bit bigger because it was so good! The grilled watermelon salad was warm yet refreshing. My husband had the fig salad with balsamic dressing. I took a bite and it was amazing. Then we shared a seared ahi tuna with papaya chutney. This combination together was a great marriage. So glad we discovered this gem in West Palm Beach. Did I mention that it is located in a cute and quaint Northwood area with boutiques and restaurants. You can shop and grab a bite!

Had dinner here the other night and was surprised to find out that dinner was 1/2 price until 6:30. We were the only 4 people in the restaurant and the service was poor!! None of our dinners were hot (all luke warm). Although entrees were 1/2 price, an automatic 18% gratuity was added to our bill factored on the full price of the dinners. House wine was ordinary Chianti @ $10.00 each. We dine out frequently (at least 2-3 times a week) at upscale restaurants and have never had a gratuity added on the check for 4 people. Am very surprised at the reviews.

Oh folks, if only every restaurant shared the philosophy of pleasing the customer with amazing food and service, and then thanking you for dining in his establishment, the world of dining out could truly erase the national debt.Everyone would be spending their disposable income with the experience one receives at Table 427. Roberto, the owner of this little Northwood gem, is a fabulous chef, and a wonderful man. He will make any dietary substitutions, meet any requests, and adjust any dish to make it more to your liking. His attitude is a delightful change from some of the "southern florida apathy" found in a lot of restaurants in this area. We love him, and we love his restaurant. This is as good as it gets.

Saw some good reviews and went for lunch. We got the bacon cheeseburger and the fish tacos. Both were pretty good. The burger patty could have used a little more seasoning and the fiah tacos a little more mango sauce but really great otherwise. The side salad was delicious and the homemade spicy sauce was yummy. Good pricing... I'll be back!

Excellent meal, service and overall experience. Fresh ingredients, well prepared. We started with the spicy scallops, which were quite good, followed by two distinctive salads:'marinated beet and balsamic fig (the fig salad was especially good and highly recommended). For entrees we had the blackened mahi and the pork chop, both well prepared. Will definitely be back when in WPB.

Been here 3 times in the past two weeks. Loved the ambiance the minute I walked in the door on my first visit, it still intrigues me; and, so nice to be greated at the door by either the owner or wait staff with a genuine smile and warm invitation to enter. Owner/Chef Roberto has a magic touch, all fresh & homemade, his combinations of flavors are tasty, tasty, tasty! The menu changes each season and offers something for everyone...from the vegetarian to the carnivore ... all scrumptious with plenty to satisfy even the hungriest! Attentive, friendly and eager to offer recommendations, the wait staff is great ... never ignoring nor intruding. A comment from my husband (the "picky" Italian), "best gnocchi I've EVER eaten!" (and, he's eaten a lot!). Very much looking forward to our next visit and next and next ... :)

We dined here last night. The restaurant was virtually empty, while the other restaurants at the end of the street were packed. Three of the 4 of us ordered the Sole dish. It is served with capers and tends therefore to be quite salty. The salmon dish was good however the spinach served with it was too salty. We were given appetizers, gratis. It was the eggplant appetizer, which everyone enjoyed. I had a small salad that was overwhelmed by the dressing and had a piece of plastic wrap tossed in with the ingredients. We would probably not dine here again . The staff was attentive and the restaurant is really cute.

i would give this restaurant 4 1/2 stars if i could. we went there last saturday night and had a very, very good meal. my buddy and i both had the cioppino. we both thought that it was delicious. the garlic rolls are freshly made, and they bring you as many as you'd like. when we were almost finished with our meal, solomon, our waiter, brought us some more shellfish in the broth. he said that the chef had made some extra. how very nice. anyway, i would go back. it is a small place, maybe 10 tables, on a very funky block. nice people, good food.

The staff at this restaurant will make you feel like family. The food is some of the best I've ever had. But my great experience didn't stop there. 3 days later I realized I left my credit card there. I called them and they remembered who I was and FedEx'd me the card immediately I'm a big fan of Table 427 and I can't wait to get back to West Palm Beach to eat there again.

We accidentally drove through northwood and took a look at the menu and decided to stop in. Everything we tried was fantastic and it adds to the ambience that it is prepared fresh right in front of you. This isn't a place for huge parties but if you want a quiet dinner date you will be hard pressed to find a better spot locally. We started with the watermelon salad and crab cakes and both were fantastic. The crab cake was the best id ever had honestly. Entree wise I had the flank steak with chorizo mashed potatoes and my wife had the pork chop. Both were good but the pork chop was out of this world. We finished it off with the parfait which is a Colombian delicacy apparently and it was truly delicious. Overall it was an awesome night and a great meal and we will definitely be back!

Great lunch spot. We had the fish tacos with a side salad. Took advantage of the $10 for $20 voucher and got a great deal. Also had an espresso and a flan. The cheese flan was delicious, but the espresso wasn't worth the $5 price. I'd like to check out their dinner menu

First, the ambiance is fantastic. It is a small charming restaurant with an open kitchen in the middle and a live singer. We went for the prix-fixe menu, which really has something for everyone. The food was delicious and creative; you can tell the chef has talent and enthusiasm. I had the pork chop and my girlfriend had gnocchi- both were fantastic and well-portioned. The wine list is small but with fine selections by the glass and bottle. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. The owner stopped by the table and made sure everything was going well and even sent us a glass of wine on the house at the end of the meal. All in all, this place is a wonderful addition to Northwood!

  • J J.

Don't know how the food is. After being seated, ordering wine and appetizers, waiting 30 minutes (there was only one other table occupied when we were seated) and receiving neither the wine nor the appetizers, we left. I had gone to the bar to ask the waiter where my wife's wine was and he curtly told me he'd be with me in a minute. Well, no, you won't.

Six of us came here to celebrate a birthday based on the reviews. We were not too impressed with the old wicker chairs and tired cushions, but thought that the owner was trying to create a homey feeling. Our waiter was slow and finally informed us that the other waiter had to leave early. Let's just say that the service went downhill from there. The food was good, not great, in part from the heavy hand with the salt. Most of us felt that way about our food. Sounds like it was a bad night at the restaurant. I truly felt bad for the waiter, but even with the added stress, he could have used a little more polish.

Had a fab lunch.small and nicely kept. What a Great meal and staff! Will be back for dinner! Burger was prepared with perfection and very reasonable with lovely sides.Freshly prepared here not frozen. Chef is owner operator and it shows through. Try it! It won't disappoint...

Simply tasty! We intended to go to another restaurant that was closed and found this a short walk away. Yelp had great ratings and we have it a try. All the reviews about quaintness and service are correct. Very enjoyable. We had the salmon and shrimp/crab ravioli and both were excellent. Just enough food without being "too full" Great accidental find!
